I experimented with using aluminum foil on the bbq to cook fish and chicken wings this past week. The flavor and grilled effect were not lost with the meat being on one large sheet of aluminum foil. The benefits were that the delicate fish didn't fall down into the bbq through the cracks and that the the chicken wings were able to cook sitting in the bbq sauce and onions. Another plus is that it saves a mess on the bbq.
Both meals were a success and I will be barbequeing with aluminum foil often in the future.
I didn't get a photo of the delicious tilapia and catfish.
Here are the chicken wings.
