I forgot to take a picture because it disappeared too quickly. It was perfectly delicious for us who don't like hot spicy chili.
Mix these ingredients in a large pot:
1 can pinto beans
1 can black beans
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained (I used garlic and onion kind)
1 15-oz can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon dried crushed basil
chopped onion to taste (1-2 cups)
black pepper to taste (1/2 teaspoon)
minced garlic to taste (1-2 tablespoons)
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Let simmer for about 15 minutes. Add cooked chicken (1-2 chicken breasts cut up bite-sized). And enjoy with rolls or cornbread.
